Yellow Dog Flowers and Produce is a small fresh cut flower and vegetable business serving the Madison, Wisconsin area.
It’s owned and run by Molly Stentz, who has more than a decade of experience working for organic farms in Wisconsin and Illinois, including West Star Farm, Tipi Produce and Blue Moon Farm. She is ably assisted by John Peck as well as Honey G. Dawg, the farm mascot, and Peanut, our cowboy corgi in charge of pest control.
Our farm is located in Brooklyn, Wisconsin, a half hour south of Madison.
For many years, we leased land from Dane County, inside Silverwood County Park in Edgerton. This land was a diversified family farm that was donated to the county for agricultural purposes.
We grow using organic methods, utilizing cover crops and incorporating perennial plantings for pollinators and other beneficial insect habitat. We are focused on building soil health and a healthy ecosystem.
We deliver to the Madison area, including Brooklyn, Belleville, Oregon, Verona, Fitchburg and McFarland.
